Hi Everyone!!
Currently in the Dubai airport with an 8-hour layover and waiting for our final flight from Dubai to Nairobi. Luckily, we flew Emirates and the plane ride was amazing with great food and a free meal at the airport during our layover time!
Yesterday we arrived at Gatwick at 10am and decided to put our baggage in "holding" in while we explored the city. We didn't realize that doing that would cost us 16 pounds!!
Anyways, once we did that and got our day pass, we headed off to Victoria station. There, we had a cheap but yummy lunch from Marks & Spencer and went to Buckingham Palace. I accidentally hit Mary's camera into the water, but luckily she had a case on it and everything was just fine! We were exhausted from the lack of sleep on Air Transat and therefore decided to go to Hyde Park where we took a beautiful, long nap! I was just thinking how great it was that it was so hot and hadn't rained yet, when lo and behold it started raining on us as we made our way to Oxford Street. After that, we headed back to catch our Emirates flight!
The flight was great with a menu provided for meals and we had our own TV where you had the option to watch from over 1000 movies! Too bad I slept the whole way!

Off to Nairobi tomorrow, that's where the real adventure begins!
